St David's is our parish church and has been a place of meeting and worship since 1100AD. We are a friendly congregation who love to welcome new members into our services. The attractive Norman church with its simple intimacy gives a real sense of the presence of God.
We meet every Sunday at 8.30am (1st Sunday of the month only) and at 10.am. On the last Sunday of each month our 10am service is specifically a Family Communion Service. Our services combines reverence and joy, liturgy and informality with hymns from mission praise. Refreshments are served after the service and we would love for you to stay and join us.
Families with young children are welcome to use the carpeted room which opens out from one of the side aisles, where toys and craft activities are available.
Within the Church there is a toilet with baby changing facility.
There is also an efficient P.A system with a hearing loop.

The Church roof was reslated in around 1929 and the nails attaching the slates are rotting. This last winter on two occasions we suffered the loss of slates during stormy weather. To preserve the integrity of the structure there is an urgent need to raise funds, around £75,000, to remove approximately 95% of the slates, remove and replace the lead flashing, felt and batten and reslate using as many of the existing slates as possible.
We should appreciate any donations towards the cost of this project.
8.30am: Holy Communion (1st Sunday of the month only)
10.am: Morning Prayer alternating with Holy Communion, last Sunday of each month a Family Communion Service.
There will be special Prayer and Praise events in the Church on Wednesdays Oct. 9th and Nov 13th at 7pm. These events should appeal to those who are seeking, but would feel uncertain about attending our Sunday services, and those who would like to come to Church but whose Sundays are tied up.
